First Place Pie! Allen Jr and his cooking class

Allen Jr is taking a cooking class this year.  He has enjoyed cooking and learning new things.  Last week in his cooking class he made a pie with his class partner, the teacher entered it into the Carree Technology Fair(FCCLA County Fair) and their pie won First Place.  He brought his blue ribbon home today and he was so proud of that.  We are excited for him and very glad.

New Curriculum - update

Well, it is wonderful to say that we finally finished Wisdom Booklet 1.  It may have taken us since November of last year, but we are ready to move forward with booklet number 2.  We are so excited and we learned so much as a family during this new homeschool journey of ours.
