Eleven years ago on a Sunday morning...a lot like this one, you were born. What a blessing, the Lord gave your Dad and I that day, well really the whole family. We have enjoyed watching you grow up into a young lady. Through all of the ups and downs of your (our) medical journey, the Lord has kept you. I know he has a special plan for your life and as you mature, you are realizing this. You have been reading your devotionals and your Bible, that makes me thankful you have a desire to learn more about God. When you were a baby, your Dad and I dedicated you to the Lord, he gave you to us to help raise and guide, but ultimatly you belong to him. I pray that as you continue to grow, that I can lead you closer to the Lord and his ways. Just wanted to let you know, how much I love you and I'm thankful for you. Happy Birthday Makaela!

ReplyDeleteShe has been a blessing and a wonderful friend to Brooklyn. . .who was born the same day one hour later! I remember many birthdays passed and how much fun it was watching the two of you grow up. . .little chatter boxes growing into young ladies. I hope you both live forever and are able to work together for the Lord.
